"Music of Wind and Water"
Shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute)

The ancient tradition of Sui-Zen ("blowing meditation") is the only music associated with Zen Buddhism.
Played in the temples and in the "streets", this music is associated with "komuso" (wandering monks), as a way of meditation, of receiving alms and of offering healing to the community.

Awarded his certification name, Seigetsu ("Peaceful Moon") in 1986, Bobby has performed at Asian festivals and at educational and spiritual centers throughout the U.S., Japan and Korea.
He is currently "Artist-in-Residence" at the Phoenix Japanese Friendship Garden.
